Walking grandparent's down the aisle?

Lexi, on January 31, 2019 at 10:56 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 9

Who is walking your grandparent's down the aisle before the ceremony?

All of my grandparent's are deceased, FH only has a grandma (FH mom's mom) and grandpa (FH dad's dad). Not sure who should walk them down the aisle before the ceremony starts? We didn't plan on having an usher either.

Who walked your's down the aisle? Or did they not walk down the aisle at all?

We didn’t have my husband’s grandparents as part of the processional. I only had one grandparent there and she walked with my mom as there was no one else for my mom to walk with. I don’t think there’s a right or wrong for this, it’s whatever works best for you!

Because my pop is driving me in his vintage car, I thought it be nice for him and my mum to walk down the isle together before the bridesmaids. Not sure what I’ll be doing about my nan yet.

My grandfather is walking me down the aisle so I'm not sure who would walk my grandmother down. My fiance doesn't have any living grandparents.

I have 3 brothers who are acting as our ushers. One will walk my grandma, one will walk his grandma and one will walk my mom. You could have them walk down together

The only grandparent at our ceremony was my husband's grandmother. She was escorted in by one of the ushers. (Another usher walked with my step mom, and the third usher was primarily responsible for assisting guests with their seats). If you don't have ushers - is there a close family member - cousin, brother, nephew, etc - who would like to do the honors?

My brother (who was also a groomsman) walked our grandparents down, then went and took his place up front.

Our ushers (my brother, his brother, and his cousin) sat the grandparents.

Bridal party and parents only for us. Grandparents will be seated in special seats in the front before the ceremony starts.
