I bought my dress last June off the rack, so it's been in my closet for a while, yet I've only ever tried it on once again since then. I constantly have the urge to put it on and wear it again just for fun! 🥰

I can understand your fear. My fiancé and I were initially worried that the dress and seamstress would mysterious disappear after the first fitting because we went with someone who didn’t have a physical shop… but contact was smooth and she was super reassuring.

I absolutely adore my dress now that it’s altered. The dress was big when I got it; then I lost 15 lbs and I was swimming in it. The seamstress did a phenomenal job. She took in four inches total on the sides and managed to bring out the mermaid look I was dreaming of…

Yes! Just toss it on whether you have a nice mirror or not. Find a time when FH is away and slip into your dress. Even without fully seeing yourself in the mirror, you will stilll get a good feeling having the dress on (Plus, during your wedding, you won’t actually see yourself in the dress anyway) Lol!! You don’t have too do much while in the dress… Look at yourself, walk around a little bit and take it off. Go for it!
