We want my FH’s brother in law to marry us as we are very close to him and he is a good public speaker. Does anyone know in Florida how to become an Ordained Minister? Specifically in Sarasota County? I tried calling the county and they had no idea they just said it has to be either an Ordained Minister or a Priest/Minister affiliated with a religious institution.
I have had a ton of friends officiate weddings in Florida and they all became Ordained Ministers online but they married people in a different county from where I am getting married. I am trying to figure out if it is per state or per county. My biggest fear is it not being legal.
