Wanting Lining Removed From Bodice

Hoping someone with experience can help… I originally tried my dress on at one bridal salon, but then tried it on again at a different salon and ordered it from there. I didnt realize when I ordered it, but I’m looking back at the pictures now and am realizing that when I first tried it on, there was no lining in the bodice, and the “V” shaped mesh under my arms went all the way down to the third horizontal line. The dress I tried on the second time had a lining so it was more opaque than see-through, and the underarm mesh only went down to the first line. This is the dress I ordered and I don’t like it with the lining. I much prefer it unlined and with the deeper mesh on the sides. I ordered it in August and it’s not supposed to be done until January or February. Do you think it’s still possible to make these changes to the dress? I’m waiting to hear back from the salon and am very nervous. I’ll attach pics of the version I like and then the version I ordered. Thanks!!Wanting Lining Removed From Bodice 1

Yes a good seamstress should absolutely should be able to change out the lining and/or the mesh. Of course, the mesh will be offering some level of support and structure to the dress, but if you already saw and liked it without, it doesn’t sound like you need to worry about that.

Were you able to take out the lining of the bodice? I am having a similar issue.
