Wanting to have a dream wedding but not going over the budget

I know we want to do that ceremony and reception all at the same place so most of our family members who are traveling don’t have to drive a lot which I understand but at the same time I don’t want it to become very expensive for us also. Such as with the in house catering, the bar and more. So we are going to have to look in discuss the different packages some of the venues are offering but cutting out things we don’t need. I have to keep reminding him this is our wedding not our wedding and everyone else’s.

Pinterest has a lot of tik toks about things people regret/take out in terms of price for a less expensive wedding. For example, not many bridesmaids will use "bridesmaid" labeled wedding gifts after the ceremony. You can also use Amazon for a lot of decorations or find a venue with those things included. I second the Air bnb idea - VRBO is another good site that has cheaper housing! And believe it or not, Amazon has wrap bridesmaid dresses for under 60$, which is great for bridesmaids. I have been looking on Pinterest and Amazon for a lot of things and I have begin to order many things now and they did not cost much so really thank you
