Was there a meaning behind your wedding date?

10.11.12 is good.

We picked our date in honor of what would have been my grandparent's 66th anniversary. (we will be having a reception on Saturday) They have both recently passed away and loved my fiancee dearly. He proposed with his grandmother's ring. (I love antiques and wanted a ring with meaning behind it) so this way we are including important people that can't be with us on our special day.

My FH grew up with 107 as his house number, I asked him to marry me in October 2009, and we both said I love you for the first time in October 2008. October 7 worked for us, the venue we fell in love with, and our budget since its a Friday night.

Well it wasn't suppose to be but it turned out that way. We were engaged Feb 14, 2011 so we knew we needed at least a year to plan so we said March/April 2012. Well I didnt want it to be March of next year and then say "man, we could have been married". After speaking with our Pastor for church availability we ended up with March 24, 2012. After it was all said and done, we thought about it and realized that we met on March 19, went on first date March 22 and will be married on March 24. How GREAT that month will be for us!

Our wedding date is our dating anniversary. At first I was thinking of a fall wedding but this fall was too soon and I didn't want to wait until next fall either! March is usually great weather not too hot or cold!

Wanted a Fall wedding we liked how 10/21/2012 sounded and turns out the 1st 3digits flipped are our Anniversary so we stuck to it.
