Was your proposal a total surprise? 💍 Or did you see it coming??

It was actually a surprise ❤️ She asked me in front of all my family at a surprise birthday party she did for me 💘💘

I knew. We had talked heavily about marriage and our plans for the future. He also CAN NOT keep a secret ( I usually know about half of my Christmas and birthday presents beforehand 😅) he also knows I have very specific jewelry taste and it doesn't match with a lot of the current trends, so I helped him design the ring.
I think if it had all been a big surprise it would have been wonderful, but I also appreciate his transparency and openness about our future 😍

I had an idea it was coming since we had been ring shopping SEVEN months prior, and my fiancé had planned a big birthday get together for me with friends at one of my favorite place with all these gorgeous Christmas lights. That is very unlike him to plan things, especially with my friends. The day came and he acted like it was just any other day. When we got to the lights he wouldn’t talk to me or walk with me, which is odd because we hold hands and always walk together, so I thought he was mad at me!! But he was just nervous and popped the question!!!

That was when he proposed to me, so yea I had no idea...if I did I would have worn a different shirt...lol

I knew that my FH had a ring (because his mom told me and spoiled it!) and knew that at some point he was going to propose since we talked about marriage. I just didn’t know when! Every time he had an idea, I would always guess it. Since I didn’t guess Christmas, that’s what he did and I was totally thrown off! I opened a gift that ended up being a Nintendo 64 game cartridge that he converted into a ring box! He took the game mechanics out and made an insert that he pulled down with the ring inside! It was very unique and cool and I was so surprised!

Total surprise. We have been together eight years, all which he has been in medical school. He has about three years left, so I figured about then. I was wrong and he proposed October 2019! ❤️

I was completely blindsided (absolutely in an amazing way). We talked about waiting another year because we had only been dating a little over a year so it wasn’t really on my mind, but I knew I would say yes whenever he asked. He proposed to me on my birthday in September of 2019 and he took me to the spot where we first met. There was a wedding party getting pictures at the park we were at, plus a wedding photographer and planner taking pictures of a family. All of it screamed PROPOSAL, but not to ma haha he asked me to be his wife underneath a beautiful gazebo and it will be a birthday I will never forget. God blessed me with an amazing man and I cannot wait for our life to start.

We had already verbally agreed to get married before “officially getting engaged” so it was more so a “when is he going to propose” suspense type of thing with me

Complete shock - I thought he was breaking up with me because even after two and half years of dating we had never talked marriage. He got really serious and I was like.... "Uh oh......"

We had been together for 6.5 years, so I had a feeling it was coming soon! We moved in together after we finished college and we're stable in out careers. Later the same year we moved in together we planned to go to Canada. When we went on that vacation (where he proposed!), there were so many beautiful spots on our itinerary that I thought maybe! I prepped right before the trip with a fresh coat of nail polish just in case!

He ended up doing it on the last day, at the top of a mountain under a beautiful arch way of lights, right after a romantic dinner with a view! It was so beautiful, he couldn't have picked a better time during the trip to do it I'm excited to marry my high school sweetheart this April ❤️

We had discussed marriage before as we both knew we had the same values and wants for our family moving forward. We had just gone grocery shopping and he had disappeared for a bit. We were going home and I went out to get the last of our groceries, like it was routine. I got back to the house and he was there on his knee with a ring! I certainly wasn’t expecting it then but it was perfect because we are so domestic and simple. I loved it! #JustSaidYes

My man cannot keep a secret and being together almost 3 years we had talked many times about marriage and rings. Since December I kept thinking every weekend it would happen. Well we went up to Mammoth Mountain this past weekend and on our way out, he says he wants to check out this spot to ski - an area we had hiked to the first time we came there together in the summer. As we were talking through the snow.. it started getting too deep so we turned around and as we left, he stops, pulls out the ring and got down on his knee in the snow. i said YES in the freezing cold! For this man who is not a romantic, this was the most thoughtful place to propose because Mammoth is such a special place for us. Even more so now!!!! 💍♥️

I was totally surprised!! We had talked about marriage and getting engaged, but had discussed it happening over the holidays when we could be around family and our closest friends (we live in AL, everyone is in NC). I had no idea he had even bought a ring much less hid it UNDER OUR BED for a month and a half ha! He proposed to me in September and it was a total surprise and just us, which made it even more special

I did see it coming one day because we talked about getting married. I wasn’t sure on the when ☺️. My fiancé and I booked a flight to Chicago to share some 1x1 time with one another. We walked around the city and looked at everything Chicago had to offer. My fiancé and I decided to go to the Navy pier for dinner and watch the fireworks afterwards. As the fireworks were going off, I asked to leave early to avoid the exiting crowd( I hate crowds lol). We were walking back to the hotel and my fiancé asked if we could sit and watch the finale. I agreed and he began looking around and pacing back and forth and finally he got down on one knee and said the most beautiful things. He asked for my hand and I accepted ☺️✨

I picked out my ring myself but he proposed months later! It was kind of a surprise lol!

I was somewhat surprised. My fiancé had asked me to send him pictures of the kind of ring I wanted and went shopping. He proposed a few days before Christmas because his parents were in town!

He hasn't propose to me quite yet, I am just waiting

COMPLETELY surprised!! Even when he got down one 1 knee, it still didn’t register 🤦🏼‍♀️

I Said YESS!!!

It was out 5 year anniversary and we went to the Poconos, we wanted to make our 5 years special but productive. We hiked 30 miles in the 3 days we were there. I was already sweaty by the time we stopped by a huge waterfall. We of course stopped to take it all in and took in that fresh cooling air. While leaning against the wooden rails taking in the moment, I happened to turn around and he was on one knee. I had no Idea it was going to happen, but SOOO excited and glad it happened the way it did. I would not have wanted it any other way!!!!!!!!! #JustSaidYes
