Washing your hands...

do you take your e-ring or rings in general off when you wash your hands? I'm so terrified the water and soap will loosen stones or something, that I always remove my e-ring off my hand...and I guess out of habit, I've been removing the band my grams gave me for my something old too.

My ering and band have paves. I take off ering if doing dishwashing or stuff like that and always when I go to bed. The center stone is a high setting and im scared it will get stuck on sheets, pillow case, etc. Wedding band has never come off and according to DH, don't know where he got this from, you aren't supposed to take it off but if you do, your spouse has to put it back on. Let's share!! Haven't had a ring post in awhile...

I leave mine on unless I'm putting lotion on or my fingers swell.

I have been taking mine off because I spoke to a girl who has a ring from the same local jeweller and her engraving on the band is wearing off pretty badly... Smiley sad

I used to take mine off when i first got it because i was so nervous. but then i almost lost it down a drain TWICE. one of the times a stone popped out, but it actually landed on my finger

now, i only take my rings off when i put on lotion
