Water Beads, Please Help !!

How many vases are you filling up? Are you getting the regular size beads or the mini?

I think 10,000 should be more than enough either way. Make sure you don't wait too long to start them though or they won't grow as big as they should. They should have at least 3 full days in water to get their full size from my experience using them.

I believe there is a math equation to see how much you need. I will try to find it.

Most water beads are sold by weight or volume. The instructions tell you how to rehydrate the beads and the volume you will get from each packet.

The volume of your cylinders will be 56 cubic inches each. You can reduce that by the amount that you will fill the vase- 2/3 full = 36 cubic inches. Multiply x 6 and you need 216 cubic inches of hydrated beads.

My water bead packets are 10 grams, once fully hydrated, they will yield 5-6 cups. Measure your vase using water, if your vase holds 5 cups for example you will need one packet for each vase.
