I finished the wax seals on our save the dates. They look amazing. I don't think the pictures do them justice, but you can sort of see the detail and the stylized B for our last name. So happy with the way these came out.

It adds a miniscule amount of weight. I guess depending on what younare mailing, I suppose it could tip you over. But we needed the 71 cent stamps for ours anyway, so it didn't effect ours.

So do I. We will do them for our formal invitations as well. I still have plenty of wax. I have always loved the look of wax seals.

From what my friend( postal carrier) said is if it’s the soft wax(slightly movable) it can go through the machine but if it’s the hard one it cannot.
I have a monogram wax seal I have been using for all my Xmas cards since 2004. I purchased it on a trip to Plymouth Plsntation in MA. Its easy when u get the hang of it. It’s never affected my postage and people love it i did not use it for my wedding invites because I already use it yearly. I did use washi tape on my envelopes though

I was told if there is a lot of excess wax, it can get caught in the machine and rip off. But if it is thin, it passes through just fine.

Washi tape is neat. I recently learned of it ( I am not very crafty). Where do you get your wax? I plan to use this seal from now on.
