View Quoted Comment You can't book plane tickets more than 1 yr out so if you haven't found a place yet...be flexible. We wanna rent a house when we go, or at least something with a kitchen and laundry, so I looked on VRBO and Homeaway and found some pretty amazing deals. I also found that some islands are more expensive than others. We were told that Maui and Kauai are the places to go if you want quiet and relaxation. Honolulu is where you go for the fun. And the Big Island has the most beautiful water. That's because it's a volcano, so there is no run-off when it rains or whatever...but...there's also not alot of white sandy beaches except for on resorts because of the volcano. But if you are into diving or snorkeling, that's your place. Take water shoes if you go there, it can be rough on the feet in places, but worth it. I hope this helps.

Nice! We booked a cruise before we planned the wedding so we are making the cruise our honeymoon. Its June 29,2019 and we got married May 18,2019. So after the wedding we did a mini honey moon to Virginia and sent two days with friends that are also newlyweds and were married on the same day. So it worked out.

How exciting! Part of me wishes we did something more tropical but Ireland is going to be so much fun!!! I can't wait!

Sounds great! We love going on cruises and have thought about it for the honeymoon.

View Quoted Comment We had to book a place to stay the night before the wedding because we are getting married about 2 hrs from our house across a mountain. We added a couple of days so our checkout isn't until Monday so we are saying that us our mini-moon. We are staying in a cabin and I'm super excited!!
