We had an Eagles theme the girls wore green the guys gray. We also had pumpkins. I was hoping our centerpieces would work out like I hoped- we carved those styrofoam pumpkins with the table numbers and our florist flowered them up. They were perfect! The signature drink pumpkin martini OMG!!! Our cake was half traditional half Eagles. And the chef made us a really cool eagles logo ice sculpture which was a total hit!! ( and the Eagles won today even though were not expected to!)
My flower girls were my heart. They were so perfect! my nephews as junior groomsmen ❤️❤️
And my brothers who haven’t spoken to each other in 4 years- literally got in a fist fight are now talking for real talking!
My mil looked beautiful until she changed into a flannel shirt halfway through the reception- which if I had known about before I would have been p’ed but when it happened I was just like eh ok whatever. I totally found that was my attitude ok just let it flow and wow was it freeing and amazing.
Everyone told me it was the best wedding they’d been to. My husband actually danced a couple songs!! (He doesn’t dance) it did go quick but I feel I got everything in. I wish I had tasted more appetizers. 🤷🏼♀️ I tried some dinner- our dj and the venue provided coordinator made sure to steer us back to eat and I did eat cake!! I had told Mike for weeks- probably a year-he better not shove cake in my face or I’d be mad. At the time we fed with forks- and then i don’t know what hit me but I got a little icing and put it on his nose he was shocked and I gave him the go ahead to do the same. It was fun and definitely not planned. Lol.
I’m so happy to be married and to know that everyone had a great time. I can’t wait to go on our honeymoon tomorrow and chill!!
