Are close family members/friends already familiar with how you met? Are you looking to keep it a secret how you officially met or that doesn’t matter to you? ☺️

Hey, if it makes you feel better, how about just saying you two connected online and leaving it at that, focusing more on how your first dates went and what you learned about each others commonalities

I like the “we met online” line. That’s really common nowadays. Also congrats on the tinder success story!

You don't have to specify what app it was. Just say met online. I joke with people that we met through Tinder because technically we did match up on Tinder but we knew each other at work. I just was oblivious till Tinder that he really did like me....even though my sup kept telling me she was sure he was in to me lol

My fiance and I met on Plenty of Fish and I said how our love story took a modern twist and then talked a little bit about meeting online.

My fiance and I also met on Tinder and I just left it as "we met online". I didn't see a point in dragging it out in our story and there's so many other aspects that are more important to go into detail about like other posts have said such as dates, your engagement, etc. than how you met on a dating app. Congrats and glad to see another Tinder success story!

While searching for koozies for our wedding favors, I saw koozies that say, “We swiped right!” Not applicable to FH and I, but I thought the verbiage was cute.

I used the first thing he said to me (“You look like you like to dance”) to describe our meeting, no mention of where it was. I think we met online is completely fine as well.

We met on Bumble! This is the start of the "how we met" portion on our wedding website. Smiley smile

"Blake and I met in March 2018 on the dating app, Bumble. My roommate at the time, Sarah, had used the app in the past and tried to convince me to get on. At the time, I was very opposed to meeting people through a dating app because I honestly didn't think there were many good Christian guys on there..... until I met Blake. On Wednesday, March 7, 2018, I returned to Nashville from a work trip in Indiana and randomly decided I'd give it a try. On Monday, March 12, 2018, Blake and I matched! I started the conversation with a nice, "Roll Tide Smiley smile", which Blake loved, as we both mentioned we were Alabama football fans in our profiles. We talked for a few days back and forth, and on Sunday, March 18th, we went on our first date."

I’ll tell older family members and people I’m not too close to, that we met online. Other friends and such I just say we met on tinder. Even strangers I’ll just sometimes say we met while we were in college (true, we just didn’t meet through the actual school).

We met on e-harmony and i'm a total open book about it. this is what i said on our website, there's no poking on e-harmony, but I put that in there anyways because it was funny to me and probably no one else.

We met online (OK Cupid) but I just skipped that part on our website, and just did it as a timeline, starting from Not-Our-First-Date

I have to admit, I admired the friends who announced at their wedding that they had met for a one-night stand 30 years ago. But that's probably not helpful.

I went with “online” as well rather than specifying Tinder.

My fiancé and I also met on tinder! This is what’s on our website:

Lauren and Robert both went on Tinder with the same goal in mind: to meet “the one”— the one that enjoys dancing, from bachata, salsa & merengue or dancing like no one is watching. The one that wants to see all the world has to offer. The one that is willing to try new foods (and eat it all). The one that laughs and always sees the brighter side of things— and with a swipe to the right, comes the future Mr. and Mrs.

I heard a funny joke - can't remember whos it was but it went like this: "We met the way couples normally do these days - we both swiped right". Thought it was cute.
