We secured our venue and wedding date!

I am so excited! My fiancé and I just scored our venue and wedding date. Even though our wedding is over two years away, we wanted to get this piece taken care of since we don’t know how 2021 will go and if things surrounding Covid will start to improve, more and more brides might start booking for 2022. I live in California and it’s always been my dream to get married in Santa Cruz, my favorite coastal town. It’s about 3 and a half hours away from my hometown so it’s not too far away, but I can’t wait! A beach wedding has always been my dream. The weather is never too scorching hot, the highest is usually 90 or below, so I’m not concerned at all about the heat! Our ceremony will be on the beach outside of the hotel and our reception will be in the hotel’s ballroom. My fiancé and I had a conference call yesterday with the event coordinator and she helped explain the whole process and gave us a list of recommended vendors for us to choose from. We are so excited to eventually start planning our wedding as the time gets closer!
