Check out some covers of favorite songs. Sometimes covers are better for dancing than the original. I have no clue what West Coast Swing is but you could check out PostModern Jukebox on YouTube. We are using a cover of Talking Heads- Naive Melody. The cover is by The Lumineers but it will be played live by our guitarist.

I'm a big Ben Rector fan, and we danced to the acoustic version of "Forever Like That."

Mine is "The Luckiest" by Bens Fold. I love it because it fits us perfectly, and is not super well known as a first dance song.

I love indie music! And I love WCS! It's tough to combine those two, so many songs fit one and not the other, so I can see why this is a tricky decision.

Ben Howard Only Love is a little slow but could work

Passion Pit Carried Away would be really fun to dance to

Put Your Records On is not strictly Indy but would be a great West Coast

Have you checked out Lumineers? A few of theirs are the right tempo but might be too emo. Maybe Ophelia? Check Phillip Phillips too, and the song Archie Marry Me

Is Noah and the Whale too mainstream? I'd West Coast to 5 Years Time
