Wearing a Veil - Do or Ditch?

Are you ditching or saying "I do" to wearing a veil?

I’ve been considering this for awhile but feel it’s better for me to ditch. Getting married on the beach and I keep seeing this video on YouTube run through my head of a bride constantly swatting at her veil through the whole thing :/

I looooooove a mantilla or drop veil! I know the mantilla would look terrible with my dress, so that’s out. I am definitely wearing a crown, and I think I MAY be able to pull off the drop veil with it... but we’ll see. I don’t want to force a veil if it doesn’t look good.. but I really want to wear one- cuz when else will I ever be able to??

Yes to a veil. However we are doing a Gothic themed wedding so mine is black and will cover head to toe! ( my dress is aubergine)

I've got a finger tip length veil. I think it completes the look

Totally wore one, because my dress had a gorgeous train, and it just demanded the drama of a long veil.

Did NOT wear it over my face, however, so my MOH was an absolute angel and made a one-layer veil to go over my hair for the ceremony.

Do! I'm wearing a chapel length veil and I absolutely love it, it just makes me feel so bridal.

Undecided... I want a veil but if it clashes with a jewel headpiece or hair do, it will be an easy cut

I wasn’t sure I wanted one, but once I tried one on I fell in love. So I have a veil!

I am opting to wear one but it will not be long and it will not cover my face.

Ditching the veil for a flower crown. It's just too traditional for me.

No veil for me. I did a small birdcage style one for my first wedding, but I just don't think a veil would work with my dress this time. I'm doing a small/simple flower crown/vine in my hair instead.
