Wearing a Veil - Do or Ditch?

Still trying to decide. If I do have a veil it will not cover my face.

I’m actually going to wear a lace weight shawl my mom made for me. It’s white with a spider web pattern and has beads that look like water drops. I plan to have it hanging from the back of my head rather than wear it on top. I have a bridal headband to help tie it in.

Ditch. I didn't want to spend the money on one, to wear it for a short time.

Do! I wasn't planning to, but I loved the veil I tried on with my dress. It just completed the look!

I did not wear one I am not comfortable with anything hanging in my face, but I think anyone who wears one looks beautiful in it!

DO and I wish I went with cathedral! I was so against them when I was trying on dresses, then like 2 weeks before my wedding I regretted my elbow/waist length one.

I've got my sights set on a cape or caplet since we're doing a Hobbit/LOtR themed ceremony/reception. That and I'm not very traditional and thought a cape would be fun!

I think this one I’m ditching. A nice simple flower crown will go nicely with the dress style I like and with my style in general

DO (sorta) - I looooove how veils look but I just cannot stand to wear a traditional one because it feels like a costume. (Job-related trauma lol ) so I might pick something very small that I cannot see/feel or go with a beautiful birdcage style. Something elegant. It's probably for the best since the back of my dress is beautiful and I don't want to cover it at any point.

Heck yes! Finally my day has come and I want a veil...a long one at that.

Doing this. I found a fingertip length veil with a satin edge when I got my dress, and love it! Can't wait to see it all together when my hair is done.

Right now, im on the fence about the veil. Parts of me wants one, but the other parts dont! lol

I am wearing a short classy veil. Tiara didn't look right on me.
