Wearing Ring While Working Out

ARudell, on February 24, 2017 at 9:32 AM

I find myself constantly removing my engagement ring for gym classes and going on runs... What do you ladies do? Do you have a different ring that you wear when working out? Or do you just go without?

My FH has a qalo ring and I snagged the little ring bag it comes with because it has a key chain clasp. I put it on my keys and put my e-ring in it when I get to the gym.

I have a silicone band that goes right over my ring that I wear while working out. It's called ring wrapper. Here is the URL http://www.ringwrapper.com

It's great for when I'm swimming too.

I take mine off when I work out, doing dishes ect. (I also don't wear mine at work bc I work with harsh chemicals). It was his grandmothers ring which I love and don't want anything to happen to it.

Yes and no. When I run or do cardio I keep it on. For lifting I keep it on sometimes. I have a QALO, and totally recommend it. However sometimes I go to the gym right after work and keep it on, I do wear lifting gloves with it though which covers it, and I haven't run into any issues

I take mine off while working out/running, doing dishes, showering and sleeping. I just put it back in its box then, although I do want to purchase a cute ring dish Smiley smile

I take mine off for volleyball, but leave it on for workouts since I mostly do cardio and workouts at home.

I never ever take my ring off. I wear it in the shower, gym and to bed. It's insured so if anything happens it's covered.

I only take my ring off if I'm lifting weights or using a kettlebell, otherwise it's always on.

Omg. Please don't wear your rings while lifting. It's dangerous and damaging to your rings!

I went on amazon and bought 6 rubber rings for 12 bucks. They are just like qualeo rings but less expensive! I wear one everyday to the gym then come home and put my real ring back on. They are comfy to wear and nice when you're doing weights...plus if something happens to it i won't be upset since it's not my actual ring.

I've been wearing mine regardless (mostly because I workout at 530am and am so disoriented when I get up that I forget to take it off). It's fine for cardio and leg day, but makes me nervous when I do arm/back days. I'm always afraid I'm gonna damage it or stretch it up.

I take it off for the gym, when cooking, cleaning and eating certain food. Something about possibly getting chicken wing sauce on it makes me uneasy. ;-)

I have the smartdoo rubber rings. I just switch my rings when I workout. Some weeks I just leave my athletic ring (smartdoo) on. I am thankful that my fiance does not mind.

My engagement ring has emeralds and I am so paranoid about damaging them (also degloving!), so I have a silicone band (QALO) that I wear when swimming, running, lifting, setting up the stage at work (I'm a music teacher and often move heavy equipment!) doing more hands-on housework, etc.

I also end up changing my ring from time to time because I have a condition that occasionally makes my fingers swell up - the silicone ring doesn't cut off my circulation!

I leave my ring at home when I go to the gym. I like lifting and I prefer not wearing it.

I'm getting a Qalo ring! I hate lifting weights with my ring!

I wear my qalo when I run or lift. But both my wedding band and my e-ring are really thin bands, and my e-ring is a high setting. I also work as a garden educator, so I probably wear my qalo half the time anyway.
