Now that you are married, are there times that you take off your ring(s)? If so, for what reason?

I’m engaged, my ring also comes off sometimes. I take it off to wash my hands or shower or when I’ll be in water. I also take it off to go rock climbing. The last thing I want is a degloving injury! I have a Groove silicone ring for doing physical activity like that.

I take it off to shower, do dishes, or if I'm painting, or doing something where I don't want to ruin it or take it to be cleaned. I sometimes take it off to sleep. But, that's about it.

I go back and forth... sometimes I take it off while other times it stays on. Most of the time I take it off at night, then I don’t wear it for a few days. But that’s just me rushing to work in the mornings lol

We have a pool and I always take it off before going outside to swim/layout! Every now and then I take it off while cooking, especially while handling raw meat. I never take it off to shower or sleep though.

I’m not married yet but I take my engagement ring off at night, when showering, and exercising. It’s a high profile setting and a pear shaped with double halo (basically it’s pointy) so it can get caught in my hair, on my blankets, some clothing, a lot of things really. My center stone is morganite which is fairly soft, and my halo and the sides of the band are tiny pave diamonds so I’m constantly worried about bumping it or snagging it against things and losing a stone. I have a cute dish next to my bed that I put it on when I’m not wearing it, and I have a plain rose gold band that FH got a good deal on (he used to work at Kays and got an amazing discount) to wear in my engagement ring’s place.

Yes. I take mine off before I get in the shower. We keep the plug open to help with drainage so I'm always afraid of losing them down the drain, so I take them off before I get in the shower and put them right back when I get done. I also have taken them off during yard work, it really depends what it is. I don't want to damage the rings so when I was racking up rocks and digging in, I took them off for the time period until I was done. Also during time of certain prepping for foods. I really don't want any raw meat or sauce getting stuck in my rings.

My husband has to take his off during work every day because he's an electrician and it would totally be bad for him to get electrocuted. We know there are other rings out there but we didn't like them. He's been really good about remembering to put it back on though, I've been surprised Smiley smile He also takes his off before shower for the same reason as me.
