You look amazing! I definitely don't think you need shapewear, but if it makes YOU feel more comfortable/confident, that's what's important. In general, I've heard that Spanx is really the best brand.

You look great! I am personally not using shape wear, but that's because my dress had a corset/shaper type thing inside that is holding me in! Lol

You ladies are so sweet I called one of my aunts almost in tears trying on dresses because of all the nasty comments from my mom and sister about this dress and almost every other dress I tried on. basically after I chose this one, they were saying it made me look big, wasn't flattering and we're giving me nasty looks when the comments stopped. Now the same people say it looks "so pretty" and it makes me wonder if they are just faking it now. thanks for the kind words though and for giving me an honest opinion. I think I am going to see how these things I ordered fit and if none work with the back, then I'll just go without.

That dress looks amazing on you!! I'm getting shape wear because I want it, my gown is fitted and silk (no very forgiving). I've been looking online at a few places but haven't found exactly what I'm looking for.

My dress and shape are very similar to yours, sorry I don't have a picture to post. I am wearing shapewear because I am more comfortable in it, but you look beautiful so I would say do what you want. Can't believe your family said that, you look amazing in that dress.

It looks great as it is! I am choosing to wear a shape wear thought, I think I wont be as self conscious myself. As long as you are comfortable in it others opinions don't matter. At the end of the day you're not asking them to wear it lol do what you are most comfortable in! (;

It doesn't look like you need it! The dress material looks like it holds you in really well. My mom tells me I need shapewear but my dress is very structured lace so I don't think I'm going to just for comfort. Honestly don't pay attention to your family's comments. Wear whatever you will feel most comfortable in!

So I got shape wear to wear under my dress- more for my own comfort - didn't last long. First trip to the bathroom, they came off. Looking back- not needed!
