Wearing your wedding day hair and make up trial to someone else’s wedding

Is it appropriate to schedule your hair and make up trial run the same day you are attending a family members (not black tie) wedding? Feeling conflicted about a guest doing this.

You’re right. I was certainly letting it bother me more than it should. Which is why I wanted others views on the scenario. Thanks everyone!

Totally understandable. You put so much effort, time and MONEY into the day you want it to go perfectly and you absolutely want to be the center of attention. I’m sure we all feel this way but don’t let anything take away from the most important thing and that is marrying the person you love. Certainly don’t let anyone take away from that. You’ll always shine brighter than all the other people because you are the bride! Happy planning 😀

The wedding shower is definitely a big problem for me! I would be pretty upset over that for sure! The makeup and hair? No, I think that's perfectly acceptable. As long as she isn't wearing a veil or tiara in her hair. I personally always get my makeup and hair professionally done for weddings because it's an excuse to do myself up! I would not be bothered in the least if guests showed up with full makeup and hair styled.
