Wearing Your Wedding Gown on Post Wedding Reception

We got married in October, 2020 in a small intimate ceremony because of the pandemic. Almost a year after, we will finally have our big reception- I’m thinking of wearing my supposed to be wedding gown during the reception.. I never got to wear it when we got married last year.. do you think I should?

Unless you don't love it anymore, then get something else fabulous and wear that instead!

I’m in the same boat! We had a small ceremony, October 31st, and I wore my wedding dress! My reception is this October and I am wearing it again! I say why not!? 😁

100%! Plenty of brides in similar situations are wearing (or re-wearing) their wedding gowns for the big reception.

That's exactly what I am doing! I wore a simple white dress last year to our minimony, but this year I am definitely wearing my actual wedding dress and I cannot wait!!!
