Hi y’all! My fiancé and I are planning our big day, and he has his heart set on the Florida keys! Any recommendations/advice as far as wedding dates? I’m worried about weather, specifically wind and rain! Any info would be so helpful! And previous Florida keys brides out there?

Florida in general: June 1-November 1 is hurricane season. Even if you get lucky and none come around your date, it will be super hot and humid and rain almost every day in the afternoon. Probably uncomfortable in dress clothes. January/February is probably the least busy travel season and you might get good rates if you can make that work. I'd be shocked if it got any colder than 50F.
I don't have Keys specific advice though as far as properties or vendors you might want to consider. Good luck!

We were just in the upper keys this past weekend (Islamorada) - the weather was perfect. Although our wedding venue was expecting 30mph winds and a wedding. Check the famers almanac for weather predictions, they are pretty accurate.
We are having our wedding in Islamorada this October and know the weather will be beautiful.

Now forewarning about choosing Mar-Apr in the keys, season begins with spring breakers and costs nearly double. So keep that in mind as well, especially if you're planning a weekend wedding.

I attended a wedding in Islamorada in July. The outdoor ceremony was honestly pure torture, but once we got into the A/C it was fine
