Website Help! Inserting hyperlinks in the text portions

Mary, on May 12, 2017 at 12:15 PM Posted in Planning 0 10

I am not the most computer savy. I added several links in various text portions of our website. (i.e. in the travel section I have various transportation options like super shuttle, taxis, uber, etc. for each I have the copy/pasted website url). But the website url is not clickable (a hyperlink I think it is called). ? How do I do this in Wedding Wire?

Hi Mary! I just fixed all the links in your travel section for you!

You needed to actually hyperlink the url text. In the website editor, select the page, and click to edit the desired text box. Select the text you want to link and click on the hyperlink symbol in the text editing toolbar (next to bold, italics, etc.). There's a pop-up window that lets you add the link!

Same problem, using Google Chrome as my browser and clicking the hyperlink symbol does nothing. :-(

Hello - I am having the same difficulties with this step. I have tried to copy/paste the text into the text box, highlight it and then select the "hyperlink" button and nothing happens.

I was struggling with this feature too!

I found a work around- if you type out what you want in your text box into a Microsoft Word document you can create hyperlinks in Word and then copy and paste everything into your text box on your website and it should transfer.
