Website suggestions for invites/save the dates

Estrella, on February 17, 2021 at 2:16 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 28
Hi,
I need a website where I can order my, 'Save the Dates' and " Formal invites".
I've looked through a few sites like: Minted, Snapfish, Zazzle etc. Anyone here have a good experience using these website or similar ones ? How is their Quality of paper/ Ink/ Photo etc.
There are so many sites out there it's hard for me to choose and know which is the best. ORShould I just do them myself instead?
Thanks in advance for your input!

I got my Save The Dates and invitations both from Etsy! Quality was great, and pricing was fairly cheaper than I anticipated as well. I did order rehearsal dinner invites and Change The Date cards from Zazzle, and both of those were great quality too.

I designed my own save the dates using Canva (app or web-based editing program) and had them printed also through Canva. Really good quality and extremely competitive pricing! I paid $27 for 50 cards!

I think we’re going with Minted for our formal invites. They do a free sample kit that lets you see and feel the different options, and it comes with a coupon inside the kit, I highly recommend grabbing one! The quality is beautiful.

Zazzle is easy to use and good quality, I'm probably going to use them for save the dates and invites - used them when I sent out notices when I bought a house. Also look at Magnet Street you can order free samples of your design before you buy - I got a free sample kit from them and nice quality and they usually have deals going on.

We wanted magnets for our Save the Dates and wanted to go with Minted. At the time, though, they didn't offer them so we went with Zola. They are really great quality and they give you the option to adding your return address and guest addresses.

For our invitations, I actually just ordered these, and got them through The Knot. I loved the design and you can get a free sample too before buying -- which is what I did. We're getting them addressed and since they had a sale, we paid less than $150 for 50 invites. We didn't get RSVP cards through them though. We're just going to make that on Canva and have them printed.

I used various sites -- - Save the Dates (magnets): Simply to Impress, very happy with the quality, packaging and overall experience - Change of Plans: Zazzle, they charge quite a bit for shipping but I liked their editor and designs; good quality - Invitations: Minted, by far the most expensive but also very high quality and nice selection - Thank Yous: Anns Bridal Bargains, got the job done, but lowest quality of the 4

    Annsbridalbargains.com

    Costco.com

    Etsy.com

Design your own on canva.com -thousands of free wedding templates to get you started and you can print through them or take the file to a local printer.

Try to get full sets if at all possible which includes envelopes because those are cheaper than buying per piece. And it is what most guests are used to.

I love the variety of designs on Zazzle but I don't like font choices and I don't like they sell each piece separate. Even envelopes are separate.

Thanks Michelle. This is good to know, in regards to Zazzle's selling eveything separately. Thanks again!

We got our save the dates from VistaPrint. It was during a Black Friday sale so they were half off which was amazing! We were very happy with the quality and they arrived very quickly. We uploaded our own design which was pretty easy to do on their website. Our save the dates were magnets.

We got our wedding invitations from The American Wedding. I was very happy with the quality. Our invitations included the invite of course plus a reply card, details card, and an accommodations card. It was extra for the additional cards, but those were the cards we felt we really needed.

I plan on using Basic Invite for all of mine! I love the website because you can customize any template they have already created - they have numerous colors to choose from. You can also choose from numerous colors of envelopes. They also offer custom wedding stickers and envelope sleeves. So your options for customization are endless. The only downside is they are a little pricey. The cheapest I have seen on there are about $1.50 each. Whereas shutterfly tends to be cheaper with $1.00 invites

I used a site called Magnetstreet! They constantly have sales and paid just about $70 plus free 2 day shipping for 100 save the dates. The quality is amazing and you have TONS of options! Even if you don't use them I'd definitely check them out! =]

I ordered a ton of samples from a variety of places including Minted. Overall, I was not happy with their quality. I ordered my save the dates from Etsy which were exactly what I wanted and I found my wedding invitations through Etsy, but the company is called Shine wedding invitations and I LOVE them. The customer service was excellent and they arrived almost a week early. I will be ordering the rest of my wedding day stationary from them.

I have used Zazzle on several occasions: masquerade ball, 60th anniversary party and family reunion. I was never disappointed. Everything arrived on time and the invitations are quality made.
