Webstaurantstore? Has anyone used them yet?

I used them for plates and although the shipping was expensive, it was fast and the product is great.

That's crazy for shipping!! Have you looked at other places for biodegradable items? I found them at a few places because I was thinking about going green too.

I used them to order some mason jars; 84 to be exact. Their shipping is crazy. In order to get a lower shipping cost I had to send my order to a business i.e. my job and hope I wasn't caught. I need 3 more cases and have no idea what I'm going to do.

I used them for all my flatware & cake bags I couldnt beat the price anywhere! My shipping was a bit high but all the package was very heavy. I ordered 2 cases of flatware.

The weird part is I have had my shopping cart full on their site for a month at least, last night the shipping was $191, today it was $235. No idea what happened, but CRAP, should have ordered yesterday.

It just seems like so much because that shipping cost would pay for my chair rental!

Maybe they offer lower prices/shipping on certain days of the week (airlines, for example, offer lower rates for flights that are purchased on Wednesdays). Can you wait until next Tuesday and try to order them then to see if thats the case?

I was thinking that same thing, it must be something to do with deals. I'll be checking it every day now!

I used them for the cups for my bridal shower favors. They were really fast at shipping my items to me. I had a great experience with them!

Are they okay to ship to a residence? Not sure if you are supposed to be a business to use them..

I just received an order from them last week and it was crazy fast! I would definitely use them again.

I bought 125 mason jars from them. Shipping was fast and nothing was broken.

Webstaurant store made money from shipping too, they might say that they used real price from fedex, but the truth is when they partner with fedex, they actually get lower price on shipping, and charge customer the real price and made money from the difference, thats how they made money from shipping, and that's why they could sell the product with lower price. Didn't you guys think it's weird that we buy $10 item and the shipping is $20... lol seriously

They will likely get you on shipping or other fees. I'd try anywhere else first, and only use them if the savings is significant. Also, if your order comes directly from the supplier then they will not refund your money without approval/confirmation from the supplier. So if your order comes wrong, you could be waiting along time for a refund or replacement. Be sure to order well in advance in case. And don't bother using the phone customer service, use chat, because you can have a transcript of your support conversation mailed to you at the end. Which will definietly come in handy later, if you have any order problems. There is a reason they have 1 star on the Better Business Bureau website and over a 100 registered complaints.
