Wedding “after Party”

Miranda, on May 19, 2019 at 9:03 AM Posted in Florida Planning 0 4
Hello all! FH and I are tying the knot this November in Orlando, Florida and were looking for ideas for places to after the wedding to keep the party going lol. Our wedding is a Friday night and will be from 4pm-9pm at Paradise Cove. Since a 9pm end time is pretty early (we didn’t want to pay hundreds of dollars more to extend the time, venue price comes with 5 hour event time) we wanted to go out with our friends and family. We’ve heard BB King’s, Mangos Tropical Cafe, & City Walk.....wondering if anyone else had any suggestions??? Thanks I’m advance! :-)

    Hi there Miranda Smiley smile

Your wedding sounds like it’s going to be a lot of fun! Especially if you’re already looking at ways to keep the party going Smiley winking

I would suggest you check out some great nightlife venues on Yelp! It’s possible to search by ‘Nightlife’ and the area. They have a ton of great suggestions, along with super useful reviews! I see Mango's Tropical Cafe on the list!

How many guests are you inviting to the wedding? Will many stay on for the after party do you think?

    Hi Cliodhna,

We are inviting 100 guests and expect to have maybe 20-30 that go out with us afterwards. I will definitely take your suggestion and check out Yelp.

Based on your venue location, I would suggest Citywalk or Disney Springs. You'll be too far from downtown Orlando to be worth the drive. I've never been but Mangos looks fun and there is also IceBar, but you should be careful around the I-Drive area and plan on having transportation arranged (or use Uber) if people will be drinking. At Citywalk you can purchase a party pass for (I think) $15 that covers all the bars/clubs and the karaoke bar Rising Star is awesome. Disney Springs has a few nice bars too but I'm not as familiar with them.

I've also seen good reviews about the bars at Disney's Boardwalk Resort.
