Tameka, on March 17, 2020 at 11:35 AM Posted in North Carolina Planning 0 5
Wedding is May 9th and I talked to my venue and she said as long as bars and restaurants are open the venue will remain open. Just seen an update from Roy Cooper saying as of today bars an restaurants are to close at 5pm today to dine in costumers 😨😨😨. Just hope they that it will be only for a couple of weeks if not we will have to change our Wedding date for sure 😔😔. What's happening in your state and what are yall plans.

The CDC has recommended not to have any gatherings of more than ten people in the next eight weeks. You should be proactive in postponing and protecting the health of your friends and family before the government forces the issue.

In la county, everything is pretty much closed. We live 45 mins away and everything is slowly going to close. We’re still keeping our date (June 28th) it’s way too far out and we’re even thinking about postponing let alone canceling. Like one bride said unless CDC is going to refund me, I’m still having it. My hubby and I went to the courthouse in 2018 and are finally able to have it this year. So we put up in our website if you’re not comfortable , don’t come or be protected

    Hi Girl!

I am in NC and we made the decision yesterday to postpone our April 25th wedding to September 5th...I'm honestly so heartbroken.

Hey there! I am in NC. I moved my wedding to OCtober 3, 2020.

I would assume things are getting worse before they are better. But the good news is you will have a great story to share with your kiddos. Just try to be flexible. There is nothing we can do except that! Best of luck!!

My wedding June 25th, 2020. My fiance and I found out our venue, NOAH'S Event Venue in Charlotte, NC filed for bankruptcy and closed their doors on February 8th. We were unsure of what we were going to do. On Monday, we just rebooked another venue. Now with this COVID-19 mess, here goes everyone closing businesses. We are not postponing our wedding and will continue as this has been a really tough journey with only 3 months left. CDC is recommending people of more than 10 not to gather for the next 8 weeks, which puts us in the middle of May which is a month before our big day.
