Wedding Anniversary Gift

Are you following either of the anniversary gifts by year? Either the traditional one or the modern one?

The first anniversary for the traditional gifts is paper. You could do a canvas/painting/drawing with one of your wedding photos (or wedding vows) on it, tickets to a concert/sporting event/etc, a book (a cookbook, the next book in a series that he reads, Book Of The Month club subscription), etc.

The first anniversary for the modern gifts is clocks. You could do a watch, or a wall clock that's themed towards something he's interested in, or an hourglass for game nights, etc.

If not doing either of these, what types of things is he interested in? Maybe do a gift that's geared towards one of those hobbies?

You could also do more of an experience than a gift based on what you prefer as a couple!! My husband and I prefer to do a super nice dinner or a weekend away over gifts!
