Wedding apps

Good morning!

Do you use different apps for registry, guests to RSVP, and other tasks? So far I’ve been using wedding wire for planning.

I've been using The Knot for all my wedding-related stuff (other than the forums)! Checklist, budget tool, website, RSVP tracking, etc. It seems to work pretty well.

I use Zola for our wedding website, Zola registry, and planning tools. I've really enjoyed the app and it's been extremely helpful, especially the RSVP/Guest List portion.

For our Target registry, I have the Target Registry app, and the same for our Crate & Barrel Registry!

I've used wedding wire for basically everything so far, but it definitely has glitches. Didn't figure that out until I was basically finished with my site, so I just deal with it. Nothing too major.
I did use the checklist on the knot at the beginning but ended up creating my own Google sheet with tasks from both the knot and WW and it also keeps track of my budget. I'm in the IT/accounting field and neither the knot or WW did budgeting in a way that I liked

I've been using wedding wire for pretty much everything except I did our website through appy couple and I really like their rsvp manager! I haven't figured out the registry bit yet. But I love WW for the check list, guest list manager, the seating chart feature, etc. Oh and the forums. Smiley laugh

I love WW for these forums but I’ve seen so many people having issues with their domain they’ve purchased. I use the The Knot for my wedding planning checklist, budget etc.

I used Wedding Wire and The Knot. I enjoy the forums on WW, but overall, I found The Knot to be better for planning and for wedding websites.

After reading a lot of negative reviews about using WW for the website and/or RSVPs, daughter used The Knot and was very happy.... The RSVP function accurately and easily gathered attendance and menu choices for both the wedding and the large welcome/rehearsal dinner that about half the wedding guests were also invited to. It was seamless....

I mostly just did everything on my Google drive. I had really just one Google sheet with everything on it

There are countless posts saying the the WW has glitches that they are unable to resolve. So most people use it for forums only and go elsewhere for planning.

Withjoy.com or wix.com for a site to share with guests. Rsvpify.com can be linked to those sites. Most still give registry info by word of mouth and the registries are easy to pull up straight from the store websites. Google Sheets has a template for planning spreadsheets.
Also rely on parents and grandparents for etiquette guidelines.
So you can plan pretty much everything by using only outside sources beyond the forums.

I'm using WeddingWire for all of it: budget tracking, vendor reviews, planning checklist, wedding website, RSVP. Great so far!

I've mostly been using wedding wire and it has been easy having everything in one place. A wedding planner to write stuff down in is also helpful

I used the wedding wire site for all of it, but I’ve had to mostly RSVP my guests because they’re not so internet savvy.

I used WW and the Knot apps. On top of that, I had the Knot's book, and spreadsheets.

I found all of these had different things to offer and were useful in their own ways - the trick was just figuring out which worked best for my brain and how I organize.

We used the Knot's website/app for our RSVPs/addresses/website, but both the Knot and WW for research.
