Wedding Arch Question

Abigail, on September 4, 2016 at 9:32 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 14

I am looking at wedding arch decor since our location will have one, I am wondering what kind of material is used to drape over the wedding arch?? (similar to the photo) And possibly where is the best place to purchase it? Thank you so much!!

Tulle. I'm pretty sure I have seen it in the wedding aisle in stores. I actually think I saw some at Walmart earlier today.

I'm going to do chiffon also. It's heavier than tulle and I think it will drape nicely. I'm probably going to look online or at JoAnns

Chiffon, tulle or organza. I would think Joann's Fabrics, Hancocks Fabrics, or an online fabric place.

@FutureMrsPereda that is my inspiration arch as well! Plan on taking the picture from Pinterest into my local Joann's and seeing what the ladies there suggest.

    We went with Chiffon.

Joann's has 50% of coupons for fabric right now.

Tableclothsfactory.com has wholesale fabric. That's where I got mine. Definitely worth checking out.

I decided on no fabric to make the floral piece really pop! :3

I'm also using chiffon from jo-Ann's. Still sheer with a nice weight so it drapes better than tulle.

Chiffon is gorgeous and flowy. The only problem is it can be expensive. Even with coupons, they are only good for 1 yard. I would be hesitant at looking online, you need to feel the fabric. Go to Joann's and look and touch the fabric. Make sure to check out the clearance fabrics.

Joanns allowed me the use a 40% coupon on one cut (which was 8 yards) not just one yard. This is the fabric I'm using.

My mom ordered low cost sheer curtains, and we're doing that. It's low cost, and the fabric is already hemmed! Smiley smile
