Band regret, like dress regret is real, dude. I returned two wedding bands before I finally got one that I love. Your new one is gorgeous. It goes so well with your engagement ring.

DH bought both of my rings at the same time. Don't mind the sugar glider.. lol This pic was already on my desktop for easy access in the selfie thread. I'm too lazy to hunt for another one right now :-p

I decided at the last minute (3 weeks before the wedding) that I really wanted a band. The jeweler rushed a special custom order because I wanted blue topaz instead of diamonds. I'm not in love with it. We've already discussed replacing with different stones for an anniversary down the road.

We haven't looked at bands yet... we are getting married in July.... when should we start looking?

Wedding bands seem really popular. I decided not to get one because I don't want any more bulk than what I already have, and I don't know what I could get that would match my ring but still be simple. Is that a bad decision?

Almostmrsb, it's a personal decision. For some people it has a lot of symbolism and is a critical part of the wedding. For others, it's not such a big deal, and they will use the e-ring during the wedding ceremony, or use a different ring during the ceremony that they don't intend to wear on a daily basis. I'm in the latter camp with you-- it would be hard to match my ring, and I love it as is. I got a plain band that matches FH's for cheap on Amazon, so I'll wear that instead of my e-ring while traveling or whatever. But otherwise, I'll just stick with the one ring.
