How much should we budget for wedding bands?

Any recommendations where to look besides local jewelers?
Suggestions on when to buy them before wedding date?

We got my wedding band from Brilliant Earth and I am obsessed with it!

They have some affordable options, but it all depends on what you're looking for since everyone has a different style and budget range. I would start looking at options to get a sense of what you want and how much that style generally runs.

I got my now-husband's band from Brilliance - where he got my engagement ring. I want to say it was about $150-ish.

I've heard great things about Manly Bands, though!

We got married in October and ordered the bands in June. That gave us enough time to deal with any potential resizing issues (ended up changing the thickness and size of DH's ring), but you could definitely order earlier than that.

Your budget should be whatever you feel comfortable spending. I would maybe look online and see what you like and average costs. Honestly, I highly recommend local jewelers over box stores (like Kay's, Zales, etc.). They are usually much better quality. Brilliant Earth and Blue Nile are reputable websites. Etsy can be hit or miss because it's really individual sellers and some things aren't necessarily as advertised. Most jewelry stores carry men's rings as well.

Your budget should depend on how much your FS and your income. I was contemplating ordering my FH's band off of amazon.com or Kohl's. I will say, make sure you purchase the rings at least 60 days in advance in case you need to take them to get their size modified.

We purchased both of our wedding bands online from two different companies and had a great experience with each. We didn’t spend a lot on our wedding bands ($310 total), as we prefer band styles that are minimalistic and classic. My engagement ring is flashy, so I wanted only a thin, simple band. Mine is from Adiamor, his is from Blue Nile- both are high quality. We love them.

I also recommend checking out some local jewelry stores instead of most online stores! Even if it's just to look around and ask questions. It's tough to get an idea of quality or what the ring really looks and feels like until you see it in person. My fiance and I both bought our rings from a local store, and they had a great selection of rings for both men and women. I would imagine that most stores would be the same way. My fiance actually designed his ring online through the brand's website, and we were able to order it in-store (since the store carried the brand that he was looking at). If you see ones you like, ask if you're able to customize them or "build" them (choose the materials, design, width, etc).

Otherwise, look online for various ring brands, and check to see if they're carried in a local store so that you can see them before you buy them (even if you end up buying them online). As far as budget goes, that is whatever you and your fiance are comfortable spending, there is no "rule" about what you have to spend. I would buy them maybe 3-4 months ahead of time to ensure you have them in time for the wedding. Happy ring shopping!!

Local jewelers is a good place! I will say we bought my DH from amazon, he found one he liked for 14.99 and I’m glad he did, because he works as an electrician so he can’t wear any jewelry, and he’s already lost it countless times in the river/left in a work truck. So explore easy options as well! His ring is still titanium so good quality Just cheaper!

Hey so at first I was gonna get our rings from brilliant earth since that's where my ering is from. But I saw a lot of people would get theirs from Etsy so I did research and found literally what we wanted for a more affordable price. So we're gonna go with Etsy since the reviews are amazing.

Whatever you're comfortable spending! There's no such thing as 'normal' because it's a personal decision. I would highly recommend using a local jeweler instead of the big box places. We purchased our wedding bands 5 months before the big day because it was a custom order.

Your budget should be what you and your fiancé are comfortable spending! There’s a lot of flexibility in price depending on if you want diamonds and what kind of material he’s looking for. We spent a bit more than we anticipated, but we both fell in love with our bands, had the wiggle room, and felt the cost was worth it. My fiancé got a gold band and I got a diamond band, and both are from our local jeweler. It was the same place my fiancé got my engagement ring, and we actually purchased our them when we went in for my 6 month engagement ring cleaning. It was super early (purchased August 2020, wedding is October 2021) but we were in and figured why not look! Photo of my engagement ring & band attached! Wedding bands 3

Its what ever you are comfortable spending and whenever you want. We knew we were getting ours from zales and we didn't have our eyes on anything specific so we waited until they had a sale going on. We got both rings around $800 ish each, they were $400 off the original price. Picking the store and waiting for a sale really worked for us we love our rings and the price.
