Wedding cake alternatives?

So my fiancé and I aren't really cake people and we still want to have a cake at our reception, but we don't want to spend too much money on a cake to be honest. Any suggestions or alternatives? I heard some things about dummy wedding cakes but I still don't know what they entirely are

We are inviting about 115 but thinking between 95-105 will attend. I think everyone that commented is making lean towards getting a small cake for cutting purposes and then some type of dessert bar!

Yup! It can look really pretty too and then guests have options. You may need a bigger one that this for your guest size but here’s an idea:

You’re welcome! I just love a small cake for the cutting ceremony and those who want it. But a cake that feeds only 1/3 guests with a few other options (cookies, macaroons, donuts) will likely cost a lot less abs be so pretty! There are so many options for this.
