Wedding Cake/ Cupcakes from Publix

I mean, they taste just like the cakes and just like the cupcakes that are for sale in the little 6ct packages in the bakery. you can buy a package, or one from behind the counter and see what you think

I was thinking about possibly cupcakes from Publix but when I asked the lady at the counter she said I could either get the really big ones they sell in the display case or the ones that they sell in the plastic containers which I think is only chocolate or vanilla, no other options. That isn't what I was looking for so I've been looking elsewhere.

I don't know if I've ever tried a Publix cake - but I freaking LOVE New England grocery store cakes. If I was getting married in Boston, I think I would do this!

Publix cakes/ cupcakes are amazing

I LOVE publix cakes! I got a quote for a wedding cake there and it was much more expensive than the bakery I ended up with. I definitely would have gone with Publix if it were less expensive though.

My friend just did a cupcake tasting with publix and said they were delicious. The regular cupcakes do taste average but I know the big ones in the display case are super delicious.

Fun Fact, if you order your cake, and DON'T tell them it is a wedding cake, or order for their wedding selection, you will save A LOT of money. They mark up wedding cakes like crazy.

Publix bakery is amazing, cakes, cupcakes, its all good

We ordered cakes from there for birthdays. They were delicious. Much less expensive than the local bakery.

I also know a couple of brides that got a small bakery cake to cut in front of everyone, but the cake everyone was served that they cut in the back was a large Publix sheet cake. Hundreds of dollars less and the cutting fee was far less due to a sheet cake vs. tiers.

I like the idea of cupcakes. No cutting and guests can grab what looks good to them.

@Mo, that's a great idea! I love publix cake, but haven't priced them out yet! If I could have a cute, 2-tiered cake for the cutting, and then have a sheet cake in the back cut up for guests, it's win-win!
