My fiance is super picky about cake - he doesn't really like "normal" cake, but he does like pound cake and angel food cake. Do you think we could do a pound cake wedding cake? What kind of icing would be best? I would still want it decorated like a traditional wedding cake. Has anyone done a pound cake or angel food cake wedding cake before?
We are early in the planning stages, so nothing is too set in stone yet - just trying to get the ball rolling! I keep going back on forth on whether or not to have a full size multi-tier cake for everyone, or just a small cake for us and then cupcakes for everyone else.
