Wedding Cake - Need to Have or Nice to Have?

Nice to have for most, need to have for me! I just love chocolate cake

Need to have- other desserts are fine too such as cupcakes but make sure there is more than just cookies. Went a wedding recently, they didn't cut the cake at all. But during the reception like a few people at each table got a slice of cake but not everybody did. Super disappointing, because it looked really good. I didn't get a slice..

Nice to have-- we're going rogue. It's either cheesecake or the baked Alaska included with our dinner package. I was for having cheesecake, too, and I'm leaning towards not now, however, the cheesecake may appear and a different wedding week event!

Need to have. I would be so disappointed if I went to a wedding without wedding cake. It's one of my favorite parts.

Need to have! Cutting the cake is tradition and in FH's culture the cake is a focal point and an art piece! Our cake will be 6 tiers and almost 4 feet tall.

Nice to have. We don't like cake, so probably won't even have a little one. Instead we'll pick desserts we like!
