Wedding cake without flowers or ribbons - show me yours!

We did an individual cake with cupcakes. But if we had done a full cake it would have had these pearls all over it.

Mine had neither.

It had edible draggees then the topper had beads that matched and porcelain pieces.

I'm thinking something like this without the flower!

We had 2 gumpaste flowers on our cake, the rest was all buttercream.

We are doing something similar to this, but with each tier on its own stand so that we can use a lot more berries.

Mine just had some fruit.

Mine had a ribbon but you could do something like this without one!

Our first tasting a few weeks ago was terrible. This bakery is a few blocks from our reception venue and I've had their cupcakes before. Fingers crossed!

This was ours, best pic I can find of it for now since we don't have pro pics back...could easily look just as nice without the ribbon we had on a few of the layers. Want to note too that we designed it ourselves with some meaning that really no one else would notice but it was fun. The top and bottom layers were covered in edible sugar glitter because SPARKLES, lol. Then the next two layers in were piped with a paisley pattern because DH wore a paisley tie which echoed a similar beading pattern on my dress. The middle layer was a piped design that came directly from our invitations that we just loved! It was fun to add those touches that I think looked great and meant something to us even knowing probably no one else in the room would make the connection. Have fun with it

This is what ours will look like with a few exceptions; the ribbon will be blue, the little black things will be silver, the flowers will be calla lillies, and the top is all lillies no topper

We had our cake tasting today. Using this as inspiration for our cake but a peach color instead of black for the bottom. Bottom tier vanilla with raspberry buttercream and top tier chocolate with chocolate ganache, fondant outside and chocolate sheet cake so we have enough cake for everyone! I'm excited.

We did flowers and six different flavors, we loved how it looked!
