Hi everyone! August bride here. I bought a gorgeous crystal gift/card box for my wedding. I plan on having it at the foyer - on the welcome table near the entrance/exit doors. It comes with a lock and key but I’m afraid someone could walk out with it. Is there any solution to this? A sensor or anything I can use? Wedding Card Box 1

That is absolutely beautiful. We are keeping our card box at the check-in table and it will be guarded by the women I am in place who are checking people in and giving them their table cards. Mine also has a lock and key on it.

Wow it's nice!
what i did with my card box is after we started the reception when everyone arrived then we just had someone move the box. they took its contents and put it in one of my relatives purses and she guarded it the rest of the night.

Your card box is beautiful! I agree with the ladies to have someone man the box until a certain point then remove it to a secure location.

You know those things you can stick on the back of your phone/keys/etc., to track them if they're stolen? You could stick one of those on the bottom of your card box. Also, the box is so pretty, I love it!

Does your venue have a coordinator or do you have your own planner/ coordinator? You can ask either of those people to keep an eye on the box as people arrive and then take the box to a secure spot once the reception gets going.
