Wedding celebration 2021

Sandy, on September 28, 2020 at 5:53 AM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 16
My fiancé and I postponed our August 15th wedding ceremony that was planned due to the pandemic . We had invited 130 guests for the occasion. At a second taught, we decided to just go ahead and have an elopement wedding on the day of our original date . We plan on having a celebration next year. My question is, can we still have the type of wedding that we originally planned which includes our wedding party (bridesmaids, maid of honor, groomsmen, best man, flowers girls...) We just want our special day to include our closest friends and our family.

Yes definitely! My fiancé and I are having our minimony this year without our bridal party. We’re having our big celebration in March 2021 that will include our bridal party, another ceremony (where I’m wearing my big dress) and everything else that comes with a big wedding!

Of course!! That is becoming more common to do, especially after this year. Go for it!

You can absolutely have a big celebration next year with your whole “wedding” party. However, it would no longer be considered a wedding since you are already married. It would now be considered a vow renewal or a celebration of marriage.
