Wedding ceremony catering

Michelle, on December 19, 2018 at 11:32 AM Posted in New Jersey Planning 0 4
So my fiance and I decided on a barn venue without a kitchen it's outdoors and we are outdoor people. The easy thing to do would be to have the venue at a restaurant but we have decided on this location. However it does not have a kitchen and catering it seems to be complex I would like to still keep the formal vibe and have no idea on who to hire. I am nervous that it is going to end up with cold food and unhappy guest looking for suggestions or recommendations all help is appreciate it.

Have you talked to the venue about caterers they frequently work with? I'm sure they have would have an idea to ensure hot foods.

Hi Michelle!! I agree with Chandra, ask your venue what caterers they've worked with in the past. They might even have a list of preferred vendors to choose from.

Just a thought in my brain. It might be easier to have a buffet than a plated dinner in your case. Your caterer can monitor the food and the movements of your guests, but there are always the little flames beneath the food that keep it warm, so you wouldn't have to worry too much about cold food and unhappy guests.

Hey guys thanks for the input. So the venue is in brekley heights at the watching masker barn. It's ran by Union county parks and they told me they are not allowed to recommend anyone. The guy who showed me the place said he could tell me who he used and that the Carter has worked there often. I went to check them out but am not in love . Looking for other suggestion and recommendations. I do realize that buffet style is the more likely option vs Buffett and plate. I have seen places set up chafer tables to look very nice.
