Daughter's began at 3:30, when sunset would be at 5:00 pm. That gave time for 30 minute ceremony followed by cocktail hour (both outside, while wedding party finished outdoor photos). Guests were seated in the reception venue just after 5 pm (dusk); wedding party entrance around 5:10. It was completely dark by 5:30.

Our wedding is at 2 pm, cocktail hour starts at 530. Catholic wedding so couldn’t have it any later in the day, but would probably have loved to have it later to save money on total hours for vendors (ie photo/video). Happy planning!

5 pm ceremony followed by cocktail hour and reception. All at one place so no travel time in between.

We had the ceremony at 2pm, reception at 3pm and ended around 6:30, then we cleaned up the church and went to our favorite place (which is also where we met) at 7:30

Our Chapel is reserved for three hours from start to clean up. The ceremony will start at 1:00 p.m. following a small intimate courtyard sit down reception.
