I got mine at Michaels. Wait until they have an additional off sale items coupon and they will be about 80 cents per. They also look a lot nicer than the dollar store too in my opinion.

Dollar tree - $1 each.

Michael's has several gold options on sale online for $1.15-2.50 each! Dollar tree is $1 each. Don't know if there is a quality difference or not.

I got mine at Michaels! Always always use a coupon and buy a few at a time if you need! They are thicker and nicer than dollar tree (love dollar tree for other things though) and they are only about $5 full price and less on sale.

Consider not using chargers. They are only on the table for a very short period of time and unless the venue includes them, I find them to be a waste.

If you are being quoted $10 per charger rental, they must be talking about glass chargers, not the $1 acrylic ones you can buy.

Chargers are purely optional. They do look nice, but if you can't afford the formality of glass chargers you may have to scale back your plans to acrylic chargers, or even none at all. Chargers are just one of the many things that the wedding industry has convinced brides are a necessity. The most formal of banquets, even on the state level, manage to be held without chargers.

The $1 ones are plastic. I'm sure the rental ones look a lot different.

Do you have an inclusive venue that provides rentals? Ours is providing the gold chargers for us.

Dollar tree has gold plastic chargers. They're heavy and not bad. I'm using them for under my centerpieces.

@firstonetoeat, I'm using mine to coordinate meal choices for each guest. I've designated a color for each of the two entree selections.

I bought mine at Michaels on Friday.

Michaels had a 6 pack on sale for 40% off last week, and individuals for 50% Wednesday! I bought all mine for thanksgiving dinner! And I used a coupon! I would keep checking their sales.

I got mine at Bed Bath and beyond... with a coupon, I got them for just over $1 each. It was 6 for $9.99 at full price. They're excellent quality.

Hobby Lobby has them 50% off every other week

I'm ordering mine on oriental trading!! $19.99 a dozen for gorgeous acrylic chargers!

The ones I got from the dollar tree were a dollar each and they weren't plastic. Check dollartree.com

I got mine from the dollar store. They look great but feel on the cheap side, but what do you expect for $1.
