Wedding color help

Holly, on October 3, 2019 at 9:27 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 12
Hey y’all , so this is going to be a little long.we found out today that we are going to have to change our wedding date so that my kids can be at and in our wedding. We were planning on a September wedding with the colors, coral, turquoise, cream and grey. Now we are looking at dates in October and we have to pick a new color scheme and I have no clue what to pick. I am not a fan of red. Any and all help would be much appreciated tia.

You don't necessarily have to change your color scheme! It's totally fine to have colors that don't "match" the season/month!

Thank you, I know it would be ok if I still did the beach theme with the colors we had. I just don’t know how I fell about a “beach” wedding in October.

Our wedding colors are Black/Gold with an accent of Ivory. Their not exactly December wedding colors. You can keep your colors regardless of when your wedding is. But that’s just my personal opinion.

I think this is close to your original colors and no red involved. Smiley smile

Our wedding is next October and our colors are teal, grey & white. Not October-ish at all. But we both love the colors!

I'm getting married next weekend, my colors are navy, wine, & october yellow.

Forest or hunter green would be pretty too.

You definitely don’t have to pick a new color scheme! I was initially planning on late March and having winter colors (we live in Chicago it’s still cold in March) then we changed to May 2nd and I started changing everything to spring colors, then the more I thought about it i realized I should just have the wedding colors I want (my fiancé likes the winter blues a lot better too) regardless of what month it is. I think you can do any colors any month, if you and your fiancé like it who cares!? And i really doubt anyone is going to think the colors don’t fit the season, most people don’t notice that stuff. I honestly can’t remember what the colors were at like any wedding I went to that I wasn’t in.

I'm having a fall wedding and doing navy, burgundy and gold. Maybe a deep purple, like eggplant and gold

Thank you, we are already having to try and change everything else (venue, hma, officiant , cake my cake person) I don’t think I could change my colors too on top of everything else.

I think you could stick with your palette since it doesn't need to be in same season
