Hey ladies!!!
So let’s talk 🤍 what are your wedding colors & the theme/ vibe you’re going for? Also does your wedding date have anything to do with it?

My wedding is October 02, 2022 & the aesthetic I’m going for is Modern Rustic Elegance. My colors are gold & bronze with touches of black, wood, acrylic & lots of greenery!!! Also sticking to white & neutral flowers. I knew I didn’t want regular fall colors but that’s not who we are as a couple so had to give it an elegant twist.
Also SN: just got the bridesmaid & maid of honor dresses & I’m obsessed with how the colors look together!!! Bridesmaids are doing gold & the maid of honor/ matron of honor are doing a bronze color. The men will be in black tux’s & white shirts for the classic look. Still debating on gold bow ties or black ones let me know what you think 🤗

Those colors sound gorgeous together, very regal & elegant! You have tons of time to plan then that’s awesome I know it’s gonna be a dream! I am also doing black & white pictures 🥰 my fiancé & I are both photographers so we love the contrast which is why black is incorporated into our colors.

You are right! Black might actually be a better option I think I might just do that especially because finding this specific gold which is more of a champagne gold has been a nightmare! I love the idea of adding gold accents cause I know my fiancé also wanted the guys to have little gold chains so this might be better! Thank you ☺️

Unfortunately no wedding planner but my mom and sister are much more artsy than me and they both think it will look good 🤞🏼 I have a hard time visualizing things so it will be exciting to see how it all comes together!

Well that’s great you have them to help! 🙌🏽 I also don’t have a wedding planner been planning things myself for 10 months now. Luckily my future father in law has been helping a lot he used to plan events so it’s been great having him also plan my vision. I’m still debating on getting a day of coordinator but a lot of people recommend to get one at least that day.

My wedding is April 22nd of next year (Earth Day!). I initially wanted a Sept/Oct wedding because I love dark colors, but we didn't want to wait that long so we chose spring. After talking to my planner, she helped me feel confident that I can do whatever colors I want without having to fit a theme based around the season. My colors are black and ivory with gold accents and tons of greenery. Bridesmaids in black, groomsmen in black with gold bowties/pocket squares. Our little "something blue" will be my bouquet ribbon (gold for bridesmaids bouquets), plus our sweetheart table will be decorated with blue and ivory (black for the rest of the tables). Décor and centerpieces are going to consist of lots of greenery, fairy lights, and gold candleholders/flower vases.

Going vaguely celestial with a very dark blue, gold, mauve and blush. I don't want to lean too heavily on theme, but it will be subtly present throughout.

That’s good to hear, I’m always worried people will think I’m crazy for not having a planner. 😂 That’s so sweet that your future father in law has been helping out! We’re going to have a family friend help with day of coordination. Mostly just with the order people walk down the aisle. It’s a small wedding so I’m hoping there isn’t too much that has to be coordinated 😅 I would encourage you to have at least one person to help coordinate that way you don’t have to deal with vendors and such. We weren’t planning on having one for my sister’s wedding but the venue had one and she was very helpful!

The plan is for him to sort of replicate this suit
I really want the groomsmen to wear something like this but the problem is it’s basically impossible to rent anything in this color
I don’t know what tie for them either though! It’s hard to make a decision lol. My plan is to dye my hair to match my fiancé. Something like this. But yeah coordinating colors is hard

Our wedding was 2/22/22 and our colors were Navy Blue and White. The venue was a historic building with dark wood paneling and ceiling so it ended up photographing really dramatically. But, I loved it! Here are some photos:

We are having a beach wedding and I was thinking dusty blue for the bridesmaids and tan suits for the groomsmen. Not sure what color to have for the undershirt though.
