Wedding colors

I'm getting married for the second time on July 30, 2023. We are eloping and I plan to wear a gown and carry flowers but, I don't have a color theme. Trying to find summer bouquets (silk) seems to be really a chore. How did you decide on your wedding colors?

For BMs dresses and the like, I went with a color that would complement all of the ladies' skin, but as it happens it's a favorite anyway (David's Bridal Oasis) - though we had discussed greens, because we got married outside, I couldn't find one that would look nice on the ladies.

As far as flowers went (which is, I realize, your issue) I actually chose *flowers* I liked rather than colors. So, we had a variety of colors of Gerbera daisies in all the bouquets (they're so colorful and happy looking) and I had peace roses added to mine. The GM wore Gerberas as their boutonnieres and H had a peace rose.

I'd considered a few different color palettes before deciding on the one I liked. I'd suggest looking around Pinterest or just googling "color palettes" to get some ideas. Another idea is to pick one color that either you or your fiancé are drawn to, such as a favorite color or a seasonal color, and then look up "[insert color here] color palettes."

I wanted bright summery colors that pop and ended up with magenta, hot pink, lavender, purple and green. I also displayed a color at the bottom of my dress to tie it all in and picked uplighting to match.
