Hey all! We’re getting married next August. Our ceremony will be on the Monona Terrace rooftop in Madison (in the morning) and our reception will be at the family farm. Our rain backup space at the terrace is a lakefront room with bright red carpet! The odds of us being inside aren’t terribly high, so I don’t want to pick colors assuming we will be, but I definitely want to consider it! Any color suggestions?

What a beautiful wedding venue choice! I attended a wedding there & the views are breathtaking!
You could really have a lot of fun with a red (& maybe black?) color themed wedding OR have the girls in black (that's always elegant) & have them carry red roses, wear red shoes, etc.
I had a 'practice husband' as I like to call him. The carpet was red at the chapel. My colors were red & black & my flowers included red roses & stargazer lilies. (Attached below)
Since you'll be on the family farm, a navy blue & red might look sharp too. Your possibilities are endless.

The terrace is beautiful and would be a great spot. I am getting married in august as well, and I think I’m going with brigh colors like fuscia and aqua with navy blues go balance it out.
