Wedding colors?

Help! we’re trying to settle on wedding colors. i love pink, the groom loves purple, and we chose 2 shades of each and a burgundy shade as well (5 colors in total), we also want a galaxy themed wedding with lots of stars and galaxy colors. the thing is, we really like that there’s blues in some of the galaxy prints, but they’re not in our wedding colors.. so we tried to adjust our color pallet a bit to see if it would work out, but nothing is seeming to stick because there’s too many color hues to choose from lol. my question is, what should we do about the colors? should we just stick to the whole galaxy theme and not worry about specific colors? should we pick out main colors and then everything else be a galaxy print? i’m not even sure if this is making sense, my brain is so fried right now. 😆

I can see it! You can use your colors and apply circular shapes and lighting. You can choose subtle or literal looks.

Hot pink & purple:

Deeper shades:
Galaxy lights:
With turquoise and shapes:
Special mood Lighting:

Ball- shaped florals (swap out blue menus for purple or pink):

Honestly, sometimes less is more and in this case I think you need to eliminate some of the colors from your scheme as you've mentioned 5-6+ different colors. Maybe do 1 pink, 1 purple and 1 blue to incorporate the galaxy theme. Too many different colors is going to be harder to work with and coordinate.

3 bridesmaids/groomsmen, 1 maid of honor/best man, 1 flower girl, 1 ring bearer, my mom and dad, and his mom and step dad. so 14 total

Okay I was gonna suggest something if you had a lot of bridesmaids/ groomsmen but you don’t. Yeah I would maybe stick to one or two main colors and use some others as smaller accent colors in your decor. Also are your parents doing something special during the ceremony? Ours walked during the ceremony but they weren’t a part of the bridal party. I wouldn’t count them in your bridal party as you shouldn’t be dictating what they wear or the colors they wear

I'm a huge fan of the color purple. So our colors are purple and turquoise. We are the same way with the wedding party. Maid of honor, 3 bridesmaids, best man, 3 groomsmen, flower girl, ring bearer. My dad is deceased, (so my brother in law will be walking me down the ailse.) My mom is in nursing home (not sure if she will even be up to coming) FH's mom is deceased. Just his dad. And his step mom is also in nursing home.
