Wedding Colors/theme

What are your wedding colors/theme? Does it go along with your season or is there any special reason you picked that? I’ll share mine. My FH is Hawaiian and we are incorporating orchids and lei and maile into our overall summer theme. Wedding colors are green and ivory and gold.

Burgundy and peach. Fall wedding and when I saw those colors I loved. My fh is not keeping with the colors rather I am with my bouquet and my MOH's dress and bouquet.

Nope. Periwinkle, dusty blues and mauve for a late summer wedding. We were supposed to be Spring.

Mine does go along with my season. I'm getting married on Valentine's day, our colors are red, black, and ivory. We also have Nightmare Before Christmas as our theme 😊 we're using the cake pic below as a jumping off point for our bakery, and the card box below is my starting idea for the one I'm making.Wedding Colors/theme 1

Even found a Jack and Sally statue for our cake topper!Wedding Colors/theme 3

I chose mint and blush pink. I had a late spring wedding so it did go with the season coincidentally

I went with dusty blue and yellow. I chose them because sunflowers and blue hydrangeas are my favorite flowers so it started there.

We had a fairy-tale enchanted forest vibe without it being to theme-y. I wanted to have a transformative vibe. The wedding was in a historic library so the fairy-tale book thing went together. It was this past February and our colors were black, white, gold and greenery.

Our wedding colors were red and black. My husband's favorite hockey team is The NJ Devil's and red and black are the team's colors. I was totally fine with those colors because I always envisioned red roses for my wedding. Red and black aren't typcial summer colors which is when we got married, but we didn't care.

That sounds like a beautiful theme and colors! I love orchids.
Ours does go with the season and the area. We’re getting married in the winter in the mountains and our colors are emerald green and white. Lots of evergreen greenery everywhere.

That sounds beautiful! We were original doing wine, navy and gold but our plans changed a bit. We've crossed into a marble theme so now it's going to be a lot more black. We will keep the wine and navy as accent colors and instead of gold, it will be silver to match our invites.

    That sounds so elegant!

TBH, I went for colors that I like and think look flattering on me: shades of red, some pinks, white, navy blue, and sage green (cool tones instead of warm).

Mine is Tangled themed and honestly we chose the theme between my FW choice of beauty and the beast and mine of Tangled. She got to decorate our bedroom as beauty and the beast and so by default I got the wedding (: but I’m so excited because I had envisioned a Tangled wedding for so long 💕

I feel like we have multiple themes lol. My fiancé loves the Detroit Lions and was hoping for a football theme- We compromised so we’re doing shades of blue, silver and touches of rose gold since my ring is rose gold. Bridesmaids will be different shades of blue, the groomsmen will be in gray. We live in Arizona but are both from the midwest so we’re also having a Southwest/Midwest fall theme since our wedding is in Michigan in the fall. I’ll incorporate fall colors in my bouquet. Our venue is a huge tent overlooking the Detroit River where outside there are fall colored trees (so midwest). Decor will be a mix of rustic industrial with touches of pumpkins, leaves- we’ll even have cider mill doughnuts for dessert. We’ll throw in some cactus- my signature drink is prickly pear margarita. Kinda of all over the place but the venue is 2 separate rooms (place built a pavilion) which was kind of cool! I’m planning this all from out of state so we’ll see how it comes together!
