Wedding Date Change

Sara, on June 18, 2021 at 10:01 AM Posted in Planning 0 5

We have our wedding set for March 5, 2022. We have a venue booked, florist booked, photographer booked, and we were in the process of booking a Dj. Then we got some news......we are pregnant! Due date is February 14, so now we have to move the wedding. Am I terrible for being a little upset?

Nope! We got pregnant a month after he proposed to me so I was a little upset about things not happening in the order we planned.

How far back are you going to push the date?

I wouldn't say you're terrible for being upset about the date change since you've had so much planned. I'm sure your feelings will change as time goes on, but congrats on your pregnancy!

We have not decided yet. He was thinking we should get married this fall. I had planned to be married a few years and then start trying for kids. So we are all out of order!

You should probably reach out to your vendors as soon as I possible as dates fill up very quickly.

If you keep your original date you can still have the wedding you want. You’ll just have a one month old and will likely have to get a different dress if you purchased one already.
